The beat was nice enough but the video was kinda boring and uninspiring if im being honest.

Hillprop97 October 17, 2010 at 9:05 pm

I enjoyed this one. I love the process of making beats, from picking out records, to eqing each individual drum sound to get that phatness. I love watching others do the same. Its like watching Bob Ross choose and mix his colors right before he paints a portrait. I enjoy watching the whole process. Sometimes I don’t even care how the person’s beat turns out. Its the artform as hole that gets me inspired. Thanks Semantic.

Boombapster October 17, 2010 at 11:32 pm

Nice! I would agree that the process of beatmaking is boring, however not the film. What can I say? I love seeing the chop on the green LCD display of an MP.

I don`t give a fuck waht anyone has to say. I liked this one and I liked the last one(not just as much). It`s just great to see somebody, anybody attempt to make a understanding out of something so many don`t.

Dope October 18, 2010 at 4:44 am

real hip-hop

yeahwhatever October 18, 2010 at 9:51 am

I thought the video was very well done. Beats (pun intended) the hell out of the typical beat making youtube vids with a webcam.

jack in the box October 18, 2010 at 10:22 am

I like the video, and the guitar sample is cool (especially for Herb Alpert). But the drum programming (and the choice of sounds) puts me to sleep. And that bassline sounds like an afterthought.

J-Noblez October 18, 2010 at 11:50 am

it is “the basic process” of beatmaking… enjoyed it!

Good quality film but indeed a bit boring and the beat wasnt that hard also!! dont care what anybody says but just listen to your favorite producers, their beats just harder!!! PUT IN MORE WORK GET SOME NEW KICKS AND SNARES .

IV October 19, 2010 at 3:40 am

Camera work was well done in this video. Dope setup too.

I flipped this same sample earlier this year in a much different way. Not to sidetrack the thread, but this is a my version for those who didn’t like the beat in the video…

d_enajetic October 20, 2010 at 8:30 pm

The only complaint I have is that the vid was out of sync. That frustrates me so much.

woowee October 21, 2010 at 4:48 pm

vid was aight. however, the sample felt like it needs one more note. i like that delinquent habits joint though.
