The.LIFE Files interviews record and advertising executive Steve Stoute as he explains  the similarities between the fields of music and marketing as well as general lessons learned while building businesses.

You kind of go in and start, and figure out how to make it work later.   A lot of times you know that you can do the job, but necessarily building the company, running the company, and all of those other kind of important details come after the fact.  So, you go through a lot of growing pains because you have the right ideas, but you have to build the right infrastructure to support those ideas.
