Giles Peterson Vinyl Hunting In Havana, Cuba

In preparation for his upcoming June 7th release of Havana Cultura Remixed, Giles Peterson heads to Havana, Cuba and gets deep into the crates of what he declares is a vinyl “goldmine”. While in the process of digging showing off his finds, the DJ also gives strong words of wisdom to novice record hunters.

“When you go record shopping you have to cut your nails before you go because the dust is gonna get inside.”

  3. Come on President Obama and the Castro brothers, open that border so we can trade wax with Cuba. We steal their baseball players and cigars, let’s get some music legitimately.

  7. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.
