  1. you know what for reason i rather be with the dude thats mixing than bcox man dude look like he can mix the hell out of sumthing

  2. lmao @ the chick at the beginning…she looks sooooooo awkward like, “what do I do…should I dance or just nod my head or what??”

  3. Yeah if you can mix your own beats you definately have an advantage. I like mixing my own track in itself ‘ thats the fun part to me ‘ but I dont like recording vocals though . If that makes scence’ but I think brian came off a little too demanding on the white boy though. P diddy must have rubbed off on him. I know you always demand excellence but …… since the engineer is taking your track to that next level sonically I hope you at least buy him lunch.

  4. Yea man…always love to see people work in the studio. Myself…started off as a rapper, began producing as a result of lack of access to good beats, through recording myself learned a little bit about mixing, then decided to go to recording engineering school…best decision I ever made.

I didn’t really see him as being too demanding. In the end the track is produced by him. He made the beat and most likely wrote part if not all of the track. It’s his reputation on the line, above even the artist since he is a very well known producer, so it’s not like he can risk a mix falling short. Anyway, nothing he was saying to the engineer was out of the ordinary. He’s just communicating his vision. The engineer is there to make that happen.

  5. these drums sound cheesyyyyy. RB is so crapy, RB singers aren’t good enough to sing soul and not lyrical to be emcees so they created their own sub genre of r and b…..real r and b opensouls Rise up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTxFGeZmOkU) real r and B…… u find stuff like this video in the elevator.

  6. I think we need handle all the production steps to do a music with our vibe, our signature…question – why mixing in a digital pro-tools when we´ve got a huge hardware mixing console beside you? …it´s funny how “black american artists” like to show his spendness behavior and “too much money in the pocket” looks like…it´s time to do good things with simple and brilliant ideas…peace

    • wtf r u talking about ? spendness behavior ? and putting black american artitst in quotes doesnt make it less racial. The reason hes using PT is for editing and then running the sound through the neve for the channel strips, the comp etc, to warm the sound up and then it goes back into pt.

Also i fyou have ever tried to do drops or automation on one of those you would know why its going back into pt

  7. @ DJ HELIOBRANCO AND SILAS
YOU BOTH MAKE VERY INTERESTING POINTS .
I READ ONE AND WAS LIKE YEAH THEN I READ THE OTHER AND WAS LIKE YEAH ! BUT I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHERE RACE PLAYED INTO IT THOUGH. ITS LIKE IF I HAD ACCESS TO A LAMBORGINI WHY WOULD I DRIVE THE DELTA 88 THAT DAY ?
