A very unique invite only DJ battle series is coming to a close this Sunday, August 10th.

The Behringer Just Listen DJ Battle presented by 2mybeat.com and Tools of War will run from 3pm – 4pm at Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn NYC as part of the Brooklyn Soul Summit Music Festival. The events are free and all ages are welcome to attend.

Each DJ will battle: showcasing, selecting and partyrocking for 30 minutes each. Judges for all the battles include GrandWizzard Theodore: inventor of the scratch; DJ Steve Dee: inventor of beat juggling; DJ Johnny Juice Rosado of Public Enemy. The finals will be hosted by DJ Tony Touch!

DJs will battle on Technics 1200 turntables and the Behringer DDM-4000 mixer. They are welcome to use such programs as Scratch LIVE, Tracktor, etc.  All DJs, judges and hosts will receive the entire West End Records catalog digitized!  DJ Supreme and DJ Flawless each won $250 cash and Behringer HPX4000 headphones in the semi finals last week.

On Aug. 10, the champion of The Behringer Just Listen DJ Battle Finals will walk away with: $500 cash and enough gear to start their own sound system from Behringer, including the DDM 4000 mixer, B412DSP active speaker system, BX1800 Subs and EPS2500 power amp.

The champion will be offered a Behringer Platinum Level Endorsement Contract as well!
