  1. R.I.P. a lot of history has been made in that studio. i’m all for home studios, but it’s sucks they gotta shut down legendary studios that left their mark on the game.

  3. From a fiscal point they probably were barely covering expenses. Running a studio of that size when your not booked at least 6 months of the year is a nightmare.

  4. @Big Family – True. Especially in the urban music world, where production can be done almost entirely on a laptop. Hopefully he kept some of his outboard gear.
