Waajeed Interview: First Sampler And Dedication

May 19, 2008

Guitar Center presents producer Waajeed as he talks about his start in music as a DJ, working with Slum Village, and the exact moment where wanted to make beats.  He also tells a great story of being given his first beat machine (Akai MPC 2000) by J Dilla, learning to make tracks without a manual, and dedicating himself to the craft by locking himself away for a year to make beats.
