I’ll be the first to admit that I was not feeling Swizz Beatz back in the glory days of the Ruff Ryders. At the time, something about his sound just seemed a little harsh and lacking soul. Looking back on the whole ordeal I now realize that he truly embraced the concept of Hip Hop by taking what he had and making something completely new and his own. Today Swizz is releasing his own album, which so far actually sound pretty catchy. Check a bit of the interview here.
