Scratch Magazine Is Dead!

Coming straight from the Scratch Magazine website… Issue #20  featuring 50 Cent & Timbaland will be the last ever published!

Announcing the news In a post today, Eskay over at Nah Right says “I hope all you purist snobs are happy. You didn’t buy it when it targeted you, then you screamed bloody murder when Wayne and Jeezy ended up on the cover. You didn’t know what you wanted, and now you have nothing.”

I don’t know exactly what happened, but it’s still a shame.  Regardless of the questionable figures that graced covers or the unavoidable filler that’s inherent in all magazines, the staff did a great job keeping producers and DJ’s in the forefront.  I’m especially going to miss the bi-monthly equipment pinups and record collection flics.

Selfish thought of the moment:  I wonder how long it’ll take for the price of back issues to rise on Ebay.
