Erykah Badu wants to extend the "Real Thang" remix contest deadline to July 31st, 2008 allowing for more remixes and entries.  Creativity is key, so all types of remixes are welcomed (hip-hop, r&b/soul, house, broken beat, rock, reggae, etc.).

Grand prize winner will receive:

• DJ package from Stanton and pro speakers from KRK
• 1200Squad.com membership
• Remix blasted out to all 1200Squad radio, mix show, and mix tape dj’s
• Remix featured on the Cornerstone Mixtape and Suite 903
• Subscription to Remix Magazine and a VIP pass to an upcoming Remix Hotel
• Remix featured on Erykah Badu’s Myspace page, on Okayplayer, and on Fusicology

Two runners up will receive:
