Red Bull Music Academy London 2010 Applications Available

You’ve already seen the numerous interview sessions, now here’s a chance to be one of 60 participants for the Red Bull Music Academy Session.  The next Red Bull Music Academy will take place in London from February 7 to March 12, 2010.

The wandering collective of singers, musicians, DJ’s, engineers, and other artists will descend upon London to explore ideas, discuss techniques, and demonstrate styles in a collaborative environment.

Judging by the mission of the RBMA, this could be a great opportunity for those genuinely concerned with the craft of making music:

"It’s not about getting ‘discovered’ by a record label either… We offer the participants who come along a unique experience, one they’re likely to never forget – an experience filled with the inspiration you need to keep making the music that moves you."

The application period will take place from May 11, 2009 to July 27, 2009 and the only requirements for participation are a strong desire to be involved in music and that all participants be over the age of 18 by the time the Academy begins.

I sincerely hope to hear of at least one Crate Kings reader taking part in the event.

Head on over to the Red Bull Music Academy website for more info on how to participate in next year’s festivities.
