Reasonable Doubt Documentary x DJ Premier + Ski + Irv Gotti + Big Jaz

The making of  Reasonable Doubt is broken down with the help of various participants including Mary J. Blige, Ski, Irv Gotti, DJ Premier, Foxy Brown, and even Jay Z himself.

The hour long documentary features Ski in the studio recreating the Lonnie Liston Smith sample with an S950 and SP1200, while Irv Gotti plays Isaac Hayes chops straight from the sampler.

Don’t feel guilty about skipping directly to the Primo segments… it’s only natural.

Big g @ 12:48 pm:

Dead presidents II not Dead presidents was on reasonable doubt. The song had different lyrics. I remember dead presidents being on wax and cd single.

There were some great singles from that album… I have a 12″ version of Can’t Knock The Hustle with a different verse and w/o MJB’s vocals. Classic!

Good looking out for the post. This was mad inspirational to watch.

Plus seeing the producers recreating the beats and the footage D&D was crazy.

Peace
