Since it seems nearly impossible to find quality footage of J Dilla anywhere on the net, it was by sheer luck that I was able to dig up this rare interview. J Dilla talks about Madlib rhyming over bootleg beat tapes, how the Champion Sound project was started, and the basic recording techniques used to construct the album.
