No I.D. Talks Candidly About 808’s & Heartbreak

Producer and Kanye West mentor No I.D. discusses checking his ego and his initial disagreement with the creative direction of 808’s & Heartbreak, then curiously backs away from any further positive or negative comment about the project.

Notable Quote:
"I didn’t agree with it at first, but when it was done I agreed with what it was… for what it was.  And… now I’m just moving on.  I’m not trying to figure out whether it was right or wrong… right, it sold platinum plus."

  1. I’m sorry, there’s no one on this green earth who can convince me that Conye DIDN’T pull a fast one with that trash.

  2. Man please!
    Just say you didn’t like
it doesn’t matter how much it sold
He pulled a fast one and it gonna come back around

  3. THAT SONG WAS MAD CATCHY FROM THE JUMP. I CAN TOLERATE THAT SONG BETTER THAN THAT SONG WITH SOLDIER BOY : FEATURING SAMMY ‘ WITH THAT KISS ME THROUGH THE PHONE SH#$^T ! ITS NOT ABOUT THAT ‘ YOU GUYS ARE MISSING THE POINT. ITS ABOUT WHAT SELLS .DON’T HATE KONYE ‘ ITS THE PEOPLE THAT MADE IT 2 TIMES PLATINUM.THATS WHAT THEY WANT.PLUS THE DRUMS ON THAT SONG WAS CRRRRRRAAAAZZY ! I’LL TELL YOU THIS . JADAKISS ALBUM IS HOT AS HELL ! THE LYRICS AND THE BEATS BUT KONYE WILL STILL SELL MORE I GUARANTEE IT . YEAH I KNOW ITS MESSED UP BUT ITS A FACT.

  4. I don’t really like 808s that much but I have to give him props for doing something different. He did something what he wanted to do, which more people should start doing instead of conforming to what’s hot.
