komplete6

Native Instruments (NI) has announced updates to its popular line of software products, including new versions of Kontact, Guitar Rig, Absynth, and its bundle Komplete.   While possible to purchase each individually, to further sweeten the deal and tempt buyers, NI has significantly reduced the price of Komplete.

Komplete 6 includes:

Absynth 5, Kontakt 4, Guitar Rig 4 Pro, Battery 3, Massive, FM8, Reaktor 5, and more.

Komplete 6 will available October 2009 at a suggest retail price of $599 or new buyers or $169 for those wishing to upgrade.  Also, current owners of Kontakt or Reaktor will be able to purchase Komplete 6 for the price of $339 until the end of 2009.

  1. Wassup guys just wanted youre opinions and reccomendations. Basically I have a budget that can either purchase komplete 6 or a module rack (such as the fantom, triton or motif), what you guys recommend in terms of sound quality and ease of use for hip hop production.

    Any feedback is much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Peace.

  2. GET THE RACKS OF COURSE . I WOULD PASS ON KOMPLETE IF YOU HAVE THOSE CHOICES AVAILABLE TO YOU.ASSUMING YOU ALREADY HAVE A DRUM MACHINE.GETTING REASON WOULDN’T BE A BAD INVESTMENT EITHER.

  3. It’s no brainer, Komplete 6. A few obvious reasons why are: 1) no polyphony threshold; 2) no multi-timbrel limitations; 3) instant setup recall; 4) more patches at your disposal lessening the chances you’ll use the same sounds as the next cat; 5) limitless output routing capabilities. Those were just a few. Also I never grasped the “ease of use” terminology especially in regards to Hip Hop production? As if it’s the easiet genre to master? Them bullshit insta-beat manufacturers got the game twisted and have cats taking way to much credit for artificial beats rather than “ART”Offical inspired/encapsulating beats!! Either you can or you can’t is how I usually break it to cats. What’s good for producer-X may be a work flow/creative hurdle for producer-y. So it’s all subjective actually. Just get in where you fit in and do the damn thang. But don’t bite to hard or that obviously cuz we gotta enough DJ Predillrocktimboblazes to last us the next 200 millenniums!!!
