Mac users hungry for an updated version of Motu’s Digital Performer can finally rejoice with the latest release of version 6.  Updated features include a redesigned user interface, track comping, ProVerb™ convolution reverb plug-in, MasterWorks Leveler, XML file interchange with Final Cut Pro, Additional video/film enhancements, virtual instrument performance gains, enhanced Audio Unit plug-in and support for Pro Tools HD.

The release was originally scheduled for release during the Q1 of 2008, however, registered users may currently pre-order the upgrade directly from MOTU for $195.  Those who purchased after January 1st, 2008 will receive a courtesy upgrade with proper documentation.
