Marco Polo Gives Production And Networking Advice

April 19, 2008

Marco Polo has been ripping up the production scene for quite a while now.  In this interview he talks about the difficulty of the producer grind, making meaningful albums, and being Just Blaze‘s successor at The Cutting Room studios, which ultimately  led to networking with a number of established artists.  He also takes the time to give advice to up and coming producers and makes it clear that the only equipment he uses is the Akai MPC 2000XL and a bunch of records.

Superb site you have here but I was curious if you knew of any discussion boards that cover the same topics talked about in this article?
I’d really like to be a part of community where I can get feedback from other experienced
individuals that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations,
please let me know. Thanks a lot!
