Madlib Interview: Making of Madvillain And Studio Setup

In an older interview with Urban Smarts, Madlib talks about working with multiple artists simultaneously, basic equipment setup (303 sampler, SP 12, and track board), and recording the entire Madvillain album about a week and a half  Madlib also talks about his first professional experience in music, releasing the first Lootpack 12", and a scrapped Tribe Called Quest album/collaboration.

Almost every roland Product is dope…it takes dope/creative producers to “OUT DO” what roland really anticipated.
