Kev Brown Production Commentary Vol. 1 & 2

February 18, 2008

Yet another reason why we love Kev Brown. This has been floating around for while, but has been a bit hard to find lately.  Kev plays instrumentals straight out of his MPC while giving production insight and commentary into how the beat was made and which techniques were used to obtain his sound.  Major respect to Kev for putting this out it takes an unprecedented level of honesty and character to reveal your own samples and closely guarded production tricks.

I think what you posted made a bunch of sense. But, think about this, what if you added a
little content? I am not saying your information is not good., however what if you added something to maybe grab people’s attention?
I mean Kev Brown Production Commentary Vol.
1 & 2 is a little vanilla. You ought to
glance at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create post titles to grab viewers to open the links.
You might add a related video or a picture or two to get people interested about everything’ve
written. Just my opinion, it could bring your blog a little bit more
interesting.
