J Force Demonstrates The EMU SP1200

NY based producer J. Force is no stranger behind the boards and has the resume to prove it.  As the composer of original scores for films such as Rock The Bells, Beef, Beef II, The MC, and Bling, there’s no mistaking his ability to provide the perfect auditory complement to a visual medium.

Amazingly, this is all done without the aid of the latest and greatest gear.  No MPC here folks… J Force prefers the 12 bit E-mu SP1200 sampler/sequencer as his tool of choice.  Take a look as he quickly shows us all how to work the hell out this highly sought after vintage sampler.

Also be sure to check out J Force’s Myspace page along with other production and remixes:

I noticed the woofer on this speaker seems to be dented :)

The biggest problem with owning vintage gear is maintaining it . . .
