GQ drops its list of top 20 favorite records stores across the United States.  Some of the notables making the cut include: Princeton Record Exchange, DJ Hut, Philadelphia Record Exchange, Amoeba Music, Other Music, Good Records, Turntable Lab, Reckless Records, and The Thing.

I am glad to see people are still supporting AKA and Philadelphia Record Exchange. We lost a couple record stores in 2008 here in the 215

Yeah, Phila Record Exchange and AKA are dope.

I would have liked to see Gramaphone Records in Chicago on this list!

the top secret spots are still secret, but this article inspired me to write some nerdy critiques of GQ’s list. (yeah, i’m bored – but i love record stores!)
