Default Logic for sampling

I'm curious if anyone here is using Logic for sampling and wanted to share their approaches. I'm an avid logic user and have a couple methods but I feel like there has to be a better workflow so I'm curious to hear what others are doing with the program.

dude i sample in logic all day! just record in, double click and an audio window comes up. theres a button that lets you loop and a button the just plays forward. you can do all types of processing, normalizing, silencing of annoying cracks and pops(the ones that are bigger than the wave form lol) and time stretching to. to me its mad intuitive at this point i can sample a song and have 15 loops from it in less than 20 minutes... how do you freak it?

man i try and put a sample in, and every single time i chop it it loads for like 10 seconds, because its "creating a new audio file"
its way simpler and easier for me in garageband

Yea, all I use for sampling is logic pro. I don't know which version you've got but logic 8 has definetly helped the work flow.
What I do first is record the whole track (or import if its not vinyl) I want to sample on to an audio track. Then open up your audio bin window (window-->audio bin). Here you can just chop up each sample as you wish just double click on the audio file, highlight which part you want for your sample and click on edit--> "regions-->select" (I think its in edit anyway).
Then you can go back to the audio bin window, copy and paste the whole file and select an other sample.
Once all my samples are chopped up I select the esx24 vitual instrument sampler then click on the "edit" button in the window that appears you can now just drag the selected samples from the audio bin and drop them in the edit window of the esx24. Logic automatically maps the sample to your keyboard so that it changes pitch.
exit the window and it will ask you to save it as an esx sample file. Save it.
then I just select a different virtual instrument track, open up the exs24, drag the other samples that I chopped up from the audio bin, and repeat the process over again.

It suits me well and I like having that much control over the sample.
Logic express is shit, and I don't believe the sampler is included in express.
