Been baggin' the Sony MDR-V600's for years. It's hard to change once you've been using something for years. But who, knows I might become an AKG man after borrowing a pair while I was waiting for Sony to send me new ear pads. The AKG 141's aren't to be slept on!

I see everybody actually has decent headphones on here.

I have £5 ($10) phones, which you can't plug in all the way (or it will die) and only the left speaker works.

Gotta love 'em.

Senheiser HD-650 is as good as it gets for headphones, they are open cans though. I prefer that type of headphone just because my experience with them is that your ears just never get tired from listenin and keep screaming for more, unlike closed cans.
For closed cans though the Denon AH-D2000 are my favorites.
Bute either way, both of these headphones are as good as it gets and will be a waste of money if your not going to by an aditional DAC converter and headphone amp. By then you would have spent a grand and wasted days researching just to listen to a good set of cans and be thinkin fuck this why didnt I just simply buy some Senheiser PX 100's for 40 dollars (They sound amazing for what they are quote me on that, bass response is unbelievable for the price and size of this beast)
