I had one for like 2 months, the sounds are killer!!!, but for the price tag there are some major draw backs.

1. Monophony: It can only produce 1 sound at a time, so unless your going to record each track immediately your not gonna be making multitracks with it.

2. No user memory banks for sound programming. I actually made a little binder with scans of the knobs and would fill in the settings to make certain sounds.

3. Little ass keys cute at first but if your getting complex playing a melody or something its a pain.

I sold mine and just got a Korg MS2000 it's like the big brother of a micro, it has a 4 voice Polyphony, user memory for sounds, and fullsize keys. they don't make them anymore but a used 1 is about $400 on Ebay and a better buy.

i second the MS2000 I had one for awhile and it was a grimy beast, but I sold it for my Novation KS so i could get some different type analog sounds than the Korg's signature sound.

Thanks for the tips... I hadn't thought of that before. definately not the most convenient piece of equipment.
