Default mpc question

not sure how to ask this lol

but yea, like you know how you can take 1 sample and likle map it out to all the pads, and each pad will play a different note of the same sample or whatever, i was wondering what those 16 notes were

cause i got an mpd, but i cant really play anything out on the pads because there all way outta wack notes and shit, but i mean if i knew the notes of each pad the mpc has, then i can go in and make my pads those notes

im thinking itd help majorly with my bassline.

but yea i can take a screenshot of the mpd utility thing or whatever and show the stock notes for each pad if its needed

im just trying to figure out which note each pad is on the mpc lol, if possible

any help?

well on an mpc 1000, i know it's different than the mpd, but I press mode, get to my program screen,(where all you samples are banked) then F4 is how I get to my note selection screen and I can mess with it from there. hope this helps you out.

The MPC 16 levels isnt arrange in any musical scale. Its just separated by one half step. So it goes major, minor, major, ect...
