Crate kings 08' Best beat maker

Im going to set up a competition to find out who the best is. If you have an idea of who you think is the best beat maker on this site, submit a post with there name and why you think they qualify. Ill take the first 8 contestants submitted and put them into a poll. Once those 8 are in a poll, they will be voted on for 7 days. After those 7 days are up, i will take the final 3, and host a beat battle with an insane soul sample.

Winner of that beat battle is crowned beat battle champion of 2008 and gets a DVD with my entire drum/sample collection on it. It may actually end up being 2 or 3 DVD's. But i will send them to you by mail.

Please no one put themselves in the application.

Whoa, thanks man. I'm voting for Grimeshine because every single thing i've heard you do is fire and i think ''damn, i wish i did that.''

Nice idea for this best of the best type thing by the way, be interesting to see who wins.

damn. Thanks. even though this is my comp, ill still battle, and give the prize to the runner up. If it comes down with me in the top 3, and i win, then i will choose the beat that i like best to win the prize.

but yeh raff, im 17. I think thats considered young.

im still too new here to nominate anyone but there should be just a tourney if your trying to find the best. 8 or 16 man tourney

nah. gets to hectic to try to get everyones beats together. Would rather just have a solid 3 way.

EDIT: Actually I'm not exactly nominating any of these cats, just mentioning them. Read Grime's original post, he says he'll take the first 8 nominees. So these aren't nominees, just suggestions....
