It's amazing how true this is... magician is probably the perfect word for it. I personally think it's a psychological ego exercise to allow them feel better about following the crowd rather than chasing their dreams for real.

Another thing too... I know it sounds corny, but listening to motivational material certainly doesn't hurt. Whenever my goals seem too far away or a little lofty, I pullout inspirational speeches and movie clips.
I think you just inspired the next blog post! LOL.

awww!! you guys answered this kid very nicely. I completly agree with yall. Continue to do "you". In the long run maybe the music biz will be more open to new and different genres. Right now, sampling cost just too much. It'S depressing.

You said it... very depressing. I truly believe there's a really big change on the horizon though. More liberal use of the Creative Commons, alternate copyrights, etc. Things HAVE to change soon.

I think Sem said it perfect homie... Continue to go to school so you can have somthing to fall back on... So you can have a steady income... But don't give up on your dream life is never easy... What inspires me is when people say I can't do it... Continue to master your craft and you'll get to were you want to be... Peace Life and Blessings
