Books, eh?
Well I am addicted to comic books and old school crime noir novels. Though my comics are rarely super hero related...with the exception of Batman.

On a monthly basis (single issues):I read the comic CRIMINAL by Ed Brubaker, BLACK SUMMER by Warren Ellis, DOCTOR SLEEPLESS by Warren Ellis, and am also collecting the entire collection of STRAY BULLETS by David Lapham. Was also a big fan of GOTHAM CENTRAL by Brubaker and Greg Rutka. ANYTHING BY PAUL POPE!!! (My Avatar is his depiction of batman in the future (his meaning:Paul Pope)....from the comic: BATMAN 100).

I read/collect the Trade Paper Backs of QUEEN & COUNTRY by Greg Rutka, Y:THE LAST MAN by Brian K. Vaughan (Probably the best series I have ever read, the last one is about to come out!!! Will be a movie or TV series soon), SCALPED by Jason Aaron, 100 BULLETS by Brian Azzarello, and some others.

Crime novels: Im all about old school noir paper backs. My favorite Author is probably Lawrence Block. I collect all the HARD CASE CRIME novels (They publish old/classic noir and new crime fiction). Most all the stuff I read involves Dames, Guns, Con men, and fast cars....that kind of shit.

Also I have just about every book written by the Dalai Lama (Tenzin Gyatso) as well as things related to Tibetan Buddhism.

If im not buying records, comics, or classic Noir novels...Im listing to records or reading.

Yea...between records and comics; its only a matter of time before my woman leaves me.

Im basically NERD central over here.
