here's a link to the Computer World album, free download:

and you can always use a filter to get just the highs or the lows from something

Crazy, and on the records it has his Equipment List, and holy crap, he's using just fuckloads of gear... weird to think that the sounds he created can be approximated (but not, of course, duplicated) in my laptop, whereas his gear probably took up an entire barn or something...

Cool!! Thanx for the link to the album!!

Yep. KW did make a lot of their own sounds. They also used some Synths too. Some sounds I definately liked were the sounds on "Numbers" and "Home Computer". I've done that also, I've been a 'sound junkie' since early in life, myself even before hearing these guys (as I'm sure that was a lot of others that did this too). They have a Zoom H4 recorder out now that I use that I wish they had back then. Great sound quality!!

Back then, all that equipment WOULD have taken up a lot of space. Equipment then was super-bulky. A desktop of today would be a LAPTOP back then.

LMAO @ "...checking their e-mails". Puts you in the mind of Bill Gates & the other Microsoft investers checking to see if MS grossed another $39,000,000,000 plus for another year.

Thanks again, guys!!
