I'm 27.....Started making beats in 98 back in high school...

I'm one of the few that started producing, then dj'ing...

Gotta say my beats started improving after I started dj'ing...

Im 15 - Producing for around 2 years

I was around 12 when I came across a cracked version of Fruity Loops 3, couldn't really do much with it, took around a year to get used to it.

27. Started learning instruments gradually when I was 14. Got decks when i was probably 21. I guess you could say I started making beats when i was about 18-20 with FL. But, I didn't really start making a lot of beats until I got a padKontrol a couple years ago. I only made a few here and there before that. I mostly did instrumental stuff.

What a trip i had no clue everyone was so young...

Im 32 and have been djing since 98 so ten years on the decks, Producing more seriously for almost a year now...
Ive been collecting records for years and just never had a sampler and i didnt wanna use my Floops... Then about a year ago i started using FL quite a bit and was getting into it chopping samples on cool edit.. I used to just be a mix tape/ battle/ bedroom Dj and club dj when i got paid, so i had mad years of cooledit love. Haha I remember the old tascam 4 tracks... damn Im glad computers were invented!
Now my focus is mainly production and once i feel good, real good about my beats i will focus on rapping. I got scratching locked down pretty nice and learning production will be perfect for rapping... So yaa i still have many years ahead of myself on this Hiphop journey.
