yes again. You know how we do.

The theme this time round is going to be movie/cartoon/tv themes/video games, or as Rafferty put it in a previous post - Music Associated With Wasting Time As A Kid. I think we'll need to work out some kind of abbreviation though (M.A.W.W.T.A.A.K lol)

Please remember that these mix's are open to ANYONE so find some samples, get choppin and post your entries in this thread. As usual, please try to keep chat to a minimum to make it easier once we have to scroll though and compile all the entries, any questions you can pm me.

Dude, I gotta say that reminded me a lot of UK hip hop circa 1990, all those sirens and stuff, although, not as uptempo as it was back then! Good start bro, look forward to hearing the final version! Damn, some guys work quick!

P.S, Soulsyde, the way you flipped that Exorcist sample was craaaazy, how you turned a really sinister and creepy sound into something more upbeat, really liked it man - nice start. The Inspector Gadget one was sick too, definitely a nice start.

hey, if it's flipped differently enough, I'd say game on. You guys could both do it. Be cool to put them back-to-back in the mix, or else separate them...

also, I think we should be brainstorming better names for this project. M.A.W.W.T.A.A.K. is a little unwieldy. Mawtack.

How about 'Homage to Misspent Youth'? or 'Kids Today...' or like 'Glassy Eyes And Sore Thumbs' G.E.A.S.T.

that'll do for now. Figment, sorry for the chit chat... maybe this should still be a chit chat thread, and then we make a new thread for COMPLETED ENTRIES ONLY and we delete any post in that thread that isn't a completed entry. Except we can't delete stuff since the crash. ...I dunno.
