May just be my tastes but I think it gets way to crowded in alot of the parts especially for a pop song. It's built all on the catchiness so you should showcase one element of your song at a time I think like those string hits are cool and then that little synth melody you got going is cool but then both at the same time it gets crazy especially since that synth is delaying and panning across both channels.

Haha man I know how it is I have that problem so much. I get into working a track and I keep adding more and more elements and since I've listened to it so many times it makes sense to me then other people hear it and say it's chaotic. I guess you always gotta sleep on your beats to get a good perspective.

Heres mine. Its strange cos I made sure I didn't go off the scale but mine has a very different mood to the original. My brother told me that every major scale has a related minor scale. So I guess thats why? I duno much about music theory. Anyway tell me wot u think.

Anyone else goin in this? Probably not the right place for a mariah carey contest lol. I try to keep open minded.
