TAMBOUR BATTANT, a plural form of breakbeat (drum & bass, hip-hop, dancehall), delivers the fresh album THE MISSING LINK; a handcrafted, energetic, cutting edge collection of explicit tracks featuring a myriad of MCs (JAMALSKI boogie down productions US, YOUTHMAN central massive Fr…)



Playing and mixing vinyl’s was never an option for the duo who were always driven by composing their own rhythms to play live, improvising each performance. TAMBOUR BATTANT is not a group developed by strict electronic production: toying with riffs and gimmicks they manipulate the rigid structure of the music in the same way as jazz musicians.

THE MISSING LINK is the synthesis of four years of live performances; in 17 tracks TAMBOUR BATTANT leaves the confines of pure drum & bass/hip hop far behind while excellently conserving their most efficient rhythms.
