It's been said a million time before. It's not the gear that makes a hot joint, it the person behind it. We all know the story about 9th Wonder and FL. Whether you like his style or not, you gotta admit he made some hot joints when he started out on FL.

Hell every beat I've ever made has been in Reason. And Reason is just a glorified version of FL.

i think 9th wonder uses fl for all his beats yo.

and reason is not a glorfied version of fl. lol. there both dope in there own aspects but completely different. fl is probably the most sample friendly program there is to use. if your using it right. but in the end. thats just my opinion. to each his own.

And it's been said before that Soulja Boy, who admitted that the homebase of his production was the easy-as-it-can-be FL Studio, caused the massive increase of Fruity hate with his amazingly annoying style of Pop music.

It's to the point of now no one caring if you make the best beats of the decade. Society these days is only getting stupider by the minute. :/

I stand corrected. I have an article where he said he's using ProTools now, but what I missed is that he's only using PT for recording. He's still sequencing in FL.
