Really appreciate these videos man. It's so cool to watch you work.

I am a bit ignorant to the work flow of an MPC as I've never owned one. I use a boss sp505. My work flow on the 505 is all I have to compare with my idea of how an MPC works.

I would really be interested in seeing a video of you chopping up the samples. Maybe just one of the beats used in these videos. I would like to see a close up of the screen. See if you use an auto-chop function and then edit the auto chops? Or if you just record the samples and put in begining and end slice points on each sample.

The videos are seriouslly impressive and informative. It would probably be rough getting the right camera shot to get the info I requested.
But...if you ever feel like doing that. I think people could get a GREAT idea on the work that becomes your magic.

thanks for the feedback y'all. glad you guys are feelin' the vids. yo floyd, eventually i will break down my process of makin' beats. my workflow is a little different than others (at least from what i see youtube) i don't zone or auto-chop my samples. pretty much just take sounds one @ a time from all over. whatever sounds or notes i like then put it all together. i do alot of trimming & truncating. as for a close up of the screen, i'll have to wait till i cop a new one because i don't think anybody but me will be able to see anything on that thing..haha! i don't know if you seen it in the first video i did, but it's gotten way worse since then..lol! but i can still bang out joints so i'm good. good look again and i got more videos coming soon. peace!
