4 count em 4 real votes. They were all for you though so I would be inclined to say you took the win.

Everyone hatin on my drum sounds. Haha saying I should collect more but I have a huge collection and I always stack 2-3 and filter them til I get them how I want them so I guess it's really just a matter of taste. Funny thing is when I made this beat I was trying to make my drums Preemo styled, not to say I hit the nail perfectly on the head but alot of his snares always have that slightly lower pitched round sound to them almost like they were toms which I think I somewhat emulated.

By the way what the fuck is 80s disco?

never heard of it hhaah i think by that he just meant disco music, so what software or hardware device do you use for your beats arch? if you want those premier drums dog, all you need is a few drum library break records, cause premier strictly samples, i mean ofcourse its not just that the dude engineers his own shit but i mean he pretty much chops drum breaks cause he likes that original feel, what are those drums you used from? one of your libraries or did you chop em?

Yeah I got my own collection of shit chopped from the ultimate breaks collection. They sound nothing like the original drums because I layered them and pitch shifted one of it down to give it a wider sound. I'm also sure premier just uses individual drums sounds from breaks instead of chopping them into 1/4 notes or 1/8 notes on most of his tracks. At least the ones that I was trying to copy the style of.

and I would say the most characteristic thing about those drums is the ridiculous amounts of reverb on them so I wouldn't say my drums sound that similar at all considering I'm not really a personal fan of reverbing anything to much. I thing most cats on cratekings use a whole lot more reverb than me.

dont u mean new wave????
disco was in the 70s honey"
I don't think 80s disco is really a term as disco stopped being popular in the very early 80s. I think people would more likely know that kind of music as synthpop.
