Thanks for the battle Raff!

Looks like I got lucky on this one. Though I thought yours was much better produced than mine. The drums were straight up WICKED. Good timing...awesome drums!!!

Maybe we can do it again sometime.

Thanks to the voters and people that gave feedback!!!

Mr. Floyd, did you make this on the Sp505? Just curious. I still use mine off and on.

Nope. Did everything in Reason 3.0.

I like to use the 505 when I am recording from vinyl. But with Mp3's its so easy to just open the track up in recycle, chop it, and export.

I didn't use any external sounds other then what the sample provided, so I did everything in Dr. Rex (the only device I am somewhat comfortable using in Reason).

I had like 5 Dr. Rex tracks on my sequencer.

Oh okay, because i know damn well I'm not getting that type of sound quality out of my Sp505. Reason/Recycle is also my weapon of choice, so I feel you on the Dr.Rex tip. I actually have a set up of 5 Dr.Rex on my start-up page.

Floyd what I liked about your beat was how raw it was. Were you triggering Reason wit some external controller or something? Because the timing is so human, nah mean?

Good job buddy, a feather for your cap. I'd have won if I'd put a bassline in mine...
