DOPE battle. Good work gentlemen. Both worked the sample over. Really close, I going with #2. The overall groove. Loved the drums.

Dope sample, I like both beats this was a hard one, beat 1 had me nodding more than beat 2 I was just waitin' for a chorus or a bridge or somn' different to come up. Beat 2 had way more variety and the chops and sound quality we're on point, I just can't tell if he used "sounds different from the sample" But I went for beat 2.

Beat 1 had some interesting noises in it but I beat 2 had a better vibe and flow overall so I went with that.

Voted for #1. The progression was amazing. Although the production quality was a little better on #2, the vibe of #1 just resonated with me.

but #2 overall had listening back
to the sample to see how he chopped it

wow, this was a very good battle.
number 2 sounded very good, and it was definitely more like a battle beat, but for some reason i just liked 1 better. it was probably the build up and the chopping, plus the extremely thick drum sounds were much better. both of these beats sound really professional with good atmospheres tho. probly one of the best, if not the best battle i've seen on this site so far.
it's 1 for me.
