A couple things you should know.

First off, all labels run almost entirely off the computer/internet. So i suggest starting on some sort of bio/resume sort of thing to send to them probably via email. However, some labels actually prefer letters mailed in, so read up and ask around before you send it

Also, its rare a label will look at your shit more than once, so that means only send in your shit when your at the top of the game. Its your one change to score, so dont blow.

And lastly, think about whether or not you really want to joint a label. Even though it sounds like the cool thing to do, now days, really the only thing a label wants in hip hop is to commercialize you and your sound and make money off of you.
The great thing about hip hop, is that everything you could ever want to do, we can do ourselves! and labels know that, thats why labels keep tryin to pump it in our brains that we need them.
