I'm facing a dilemma. I have some cash right now, and I've wanted a good midi controller/synth for a long time, but all of a sudden there's an MPC 1000 for sale locally. I haven't seen it yet, but dude says it's in good working order. He stressed the pads are "very responsive". Imma go see it tonight hopefully.

Argh, keyboard or MPC? Any thoughts?
well...if your sampling, you can use a asr-10 thats about the only good sampling keyboard still available...but the technology is really old and it kinda gets frustrating some times. U will run in to some problems with the asr and its really hard to learn so u better get a manual. So i would go for the mpc...the mpc is really easy to use...just my little 2 cents.
