I've never really been a fan of Dre, Scott Storch or Timbo. I'm more impressed by what dudes can do with super rare samples and how they cut them up and fuck around with them. I know Dre, Storch and Tim sample but not in the same way. Their style is a too clean cut for me, i like the gritty Mad Lib stuff, making beats in a hotel room with minimal equipment -
that's dope.
