The original author at Billboard was most likely referring to fans first legally hearing the song. Yes, there are leaks, but would you really expect a journalist from a publication such as Billboard to reference and, as a result, indirectly promote illegal downloading?

Plus, many people waiting for Detox would rather hear the final, cohesive product as it was intended for listeners.
