Dr. Dre’s Dr. Pepper Commercial Offers Detox First Glimpse

May 29, 2009

I suppose pitching soda is the next logical move after signing off on your own signature headphones.  The latest Dr. Pepper commercial, which features Dr. Dre, his headphones, and a preview of a track from his upcoming Detox album, will officially hit the airwaves on June, 1.

"It may just be a few seconds of music, but Dr. Dre fans will remember the new Dr. Pepper ad as the spot where they heard the first officially released beats from the much-delayed "Detox."

What is it with Dr. Pepper breaking mythical records (remember the Guns & Roses album last year)?

@Exxo

The original author at Billboard was most likely referring to fans first legally hearing the song. Yes, there are leaks, but would you really expect a journalist from a publication such as Billboard to reference and, as a result, indirectly promote illegal downloading?

Plus, many people waiting for Detox would rather hear the final, cohesive product as it was intended for listeners.

Actually ,that is NOT a Detox song.That was a T.I. reference track. No one,not even Em` or 50 knows what exactly is going on Detox as of Yet.
