DJ Khalil talks about starting off with the ASR-10 and how working with Propellerhead Reason changed his production style by being able to tweak and play with sounds.  He also speaks on his passion for collecting vintage keyboards, the influence of East Coast Hip-Hop on his sound, and the decision to quit his job and pursue music full time.

Damn ! He never really dropped any jewels on what he’s doing inside reason.Like how he uses it. I use reason for 80% of my shit.I got an mpc ‘I got a triton and all that shit but I really wanted to hear more about how he made that akon /50 cent joint with reason.
