DJ Khalil Interview: Aftermath, Reason, And Soldier Boy

 

DJ Strong interviews Aftermath producer DJ Khalil as he talks about upcoming projects with The Game, Nas, Busta Rhymes, and Self Scientific.  In addition to discussing the importance of remaining consistent, authentic, and true to your music, Khalil also goes into the Aftermath process of making great records and the philosophy of making music for the moment.  

Later on in the interview when randomly asked about his thoughts on Soldier Boy, he responds, "I don’t look at him as a real artist" and that, "He makes music for kids."
