DJ Craze Talks DMC, Digital DJ’ing, Production

August 9, 2010

DJ Craze talks about how began DJ’ing at the age of 15, competing to win the DMC Finals, how A-Trak became a member of The Allies, the preparation for major DJ battles, and vinyl vs. digital DJ’ing.

When you’re on top of your game everybody hates you.

Yeah, craze was the most wanted at that time. He would just smash all competition at will. Good to see him still in the mix(no put intended).

Craze was more loved than hated. His crew on the other hand….

He’s a legend. No offense to Merge or even Klever, but battles have never been the same since Develop and Craze retired from them.

Had the pleasure to see Craze quite a few times back in the battle days…he’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen live as a turntablist.
