Danger Mouse Interview: No Musical Talent Needed

Gnarls Barkley production mastermind Danger Mouse talks about his hands on approach to making music, his belief that musical talent doesn’t really matter too much, and the origins of his alias.  He also goes on to talk about his musical influences, studio philosophy, creating the Gnarls Barkley albums back to back.  Perhaps the most entertaining part of the interview was hearing the story of how he used his college loan money to purchase production equipment.
