Brooklyn’s Record & Tape Center Closing Soon

NYC crate dwellers will be unhappy to know that Park Slope, Brooklyn record store Record & Tape center will cease to exist as of May 31, 2009.  According to The Brooklyn Paper, store owner Tony Mignone received a sudden, unprovoked eviction letter from the landlord.

At this point, the 73 year old store owner still has no idea what this means for the future of the store, but this may be the time to head over and grab some wax…  while you still can.

Damn! That was my spot too! I have lived here all my life. Oh well, glad I got some other secret spots.
