April 26, 2008

Known as The Blackout Movement, producers DJ Blackout and Tommy Gunz have been at work delivering tracks for the likes of UGK, Omarion, Mims, and others.  Here they talk about how long it takes them to construct a track from start to finish, what really makes a hit record, and the importance of having positive people in your circle.  As another group of producers eager to transcend genres, also mentioned is work with their rock band Purple Popcorn.

Fantastic blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.

Would you propose starting with a free platform
like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that
I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
