Black Milk – Red Bull Music Academy Session

October 25, 2008

A little bit of an older interview… Black Milk takes a seat on the Red Bull Music Academy couch to talk about his influences, soul music, using improvised production equipment, and making the move to the MPC 2000XL.  He also discusses sampling vs. live instrumentation and what he considers to be the holy trinity of Hip-Hop production: Pete Rock, Primo, and J Dilla.
